Essex Catering offers professional catering services, including but not limited to wedding catering, corporate catering, BBQ catering, canapé catering, private dining, buffet catering, and funeral catering. All services are subject to availability and confirmation via a written agreement.

2. Booking and Payment

Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (amount specified in your quote) and a signed contract.
Payment Terms: Full payment is due 7 days before the event unless otherwise agreed. Payments can be made via bank transfer or other methods specified in the contract.
Pricing: Quotes are valid for 30 days and may be subject to change based on guest count, menu selections, or additional services.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Client: Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following:
- More than 30 days before the event: Full deposit refund, less any incurred costs.
- 14-30 days before the event: 50% of deposit refunded.
- Less than 14 days before the event: No refund.
Cancellation by Essex Catering: In the unlikely event we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or work to find an alternative solution.

4. Event Details and Changes

Clients must provide final guest counts, menu selections, and event details at least 14 days before the event. Changes after this period may incur additional costs or may not be accommodated. Essex Catering is not responsible for delays or issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

5. Liability

Food Safety: We adhere to strict food safety standards. Clients must inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. Essex Catering is not liable for allergic reactions if not informed in advance.
Damages: Clients are responsible for any damage to our equipment or property caused by guests or third parties at the event.
Force Majeure: Essex Catering is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government restrictions.
